SASSmail Pre-Sales Support

SASSmail has been in use operationally since March 1999. Installation, configuration and operation are straightforward and have been trouble-free. However, as customer requirements, products, order and payment formats and PC applications may vary from the norm, email and telephone support are provided to aid integration of SASSmail with existing systems:

SASSmail Post-Sales Support

Once configured for operation at your site, SASSmail normally operates trouble free. However, in accordance with normal computing practice, it is recommended that you make a backup copy of your installation, as follows:

Copy C:\SASSmail (SASSmail working directory)

Copy C:\Program Files\SASSmail (SASSmail program directory)

C:\PGP (SASSpay only)

Backup the MS Word Macro (if applicable)

Note: Provide your own paths if different directories from the default have been used.

SASSmail can then be re-instated by restoring the appropriate directories from the backup, and re-installing the MS Word macro (if applicable). Some or all of these may need to be restored if any of the following occurs:

Re-installation of Windows (eg. because of hard disk failure)
Upgrade to a new version of Windows (e.g. from Windows 98 to Windows XP)
Upgrade to a new version of MS Office
Upgrade to a new version of pgp (SASSpay only)

Normally, the SASSmail can be reinstated as follows:

Re-install SASSmail for the 'cab' file by running setup.exe, to re-install any MS Windows files that are required (only necessary if MS Windows has been re-installed or upgraded)
Restore C:\SASSmail from the backup
Restore C:\Program Files\SASSmail from the backup
Restore C:\PGP (SASSpay only)
Restore the MS Word Macro

Saving the SASSmail installation and restoring from backup are well within the capabilities of most PC users who are familiar with MS Windows. However a SASSmail Support Service is available to provide additional advice and help, if required.

Version updates are provided at this site. The latest SASSmail can be obtained by downloading the SASSmail Trial, and then upgrading it with an extended trial or full licence.

Existing customers can find the latest version of each of the main SASSmail releases below. Only upgrade to later releases if you have a valid software licence for that release (please contact sales@sassmail.com if in doubt).
